Solheim Cup

It has been a 2 year process to bring the Solheim Cup to Des Moines Golf and Country Club. When the LPGA made their official visit it was May 17th of this past spring. At that time we had been in about a 6 week rainy period. We were really struggling to get things done on the golf course. Our staffs all away around the facility really knocked it out of the ballpark that week. From clubhouse to pro shop to grounds crew. They all did a great job in a major presentation. I am really proud of what we did then and what we did this past Monday. It was an awesome kickoff! It was great to see Lexi Thompson and Stacey Lewis here having such a fun time with the members. Congrats to all DMGCC members and staff. 2017 will be a great year.
