 Bridge Work December 2022

The weather the past few weeks has been unseasonably warm, we were able to take advantage of it and finish up some tree removal work and also some bridge work.

The old stone walking bridge by #1 south had seen it's better day and we decided to replace it. We had wood products left over from the wall build on #9 south, from 5 years ago. We had Elder Corporation in to drive the telephone pole pilings and then we built the new walking bridge on top of the those pilings. We are very pleased with the finished product.

After the bridge project was completed we still had some timbers left to utilize somewhere. The side rails to the cart bridge on #1 south were in dire need of replacement. Tanner Walsh took on the project with Arturo Rivera and they removed the old timbers and replaced them with the whalers that we had in inventory. Again, we were very pleased with the outcome.

It looks like inclement weather will be upon us soon, so we will be moving back inside to continue our winter work. Merry Christmas to all.
